    Different Journeys: Family Autism Swim and Social

    Join us for a special evening designed to celebrate the unique strengths and experiences within the Autistic community. Glen Eira Leisure's Every body Active team is partnering with Different Journeys to host a private, sensory-friendly swim night for individuals and families of all ages. 

    This event embraces a strengths-based approach, recognising that every journey with Autism is different. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where everyone can feel safe, supported, and valued. 

    What to Expect:

    • Exclusive access to GESAC’s aquatic facilities. This area will be closed to the public as this is a private event 
    • A calm, sensory-considerate environment 
    • Opportunities to connect with other families and individuals 
    • Fun activities in a safe and inclusive space 
    • No need to bring food! BBQ dinner included. 
    • Swimming is not required but encouraged.

    GESAC’s aquatic facilities will close to the public at 5.30pm on Sunday, 3 August. 

    This is a private event – registration is essential.
