    Whether you use the gym, swim at one of our pools, play sports in our stadium, or your kids take part in our swimming programs, you’ve got a voice worth hearing. 

    Now’s your chance to help shape the future of these much-loved local facilities. 

    Join the GEL Advisory Committee, an independent group that plays a key role in guiding and improving the way our facilities are run

    What is the GEL Advisory Committee? 

    The Committee is made up of local community members, industry experts, and Glen Eira Councillors. It provides advice and insights to help enhance performance, reduce operational risks, and ensure our facilities continue to meet the needs of our community. 

    Committee members will: 

    • Review quarterly service performance reports.
    • Advise on business plans, budgets and strategies.
    • Help ensure compliance with audit and risk management requirements.

    Who are we looking for?

    Glen Eira Leisure is seeking: 

    • Three community representatives – everyday users who are passionate about leisure and want to have a say.
    • Three industry-based representatives – professionals with experience in sport, leisure, governance, operations, or finance.
