Group Exercise Guidelines

At Glen Eira Leisure, we want every member to enjoy a smooth, fair and enjoyable experience when taking part in our group exercise program. Please take a moment to read through our guidelines and policies below.

From Monday 26 October 2026, a new class attendance policy will apply.

Members who miss four booked classes within a two‑week period will receive a one‑week suspension from booking into group exercise classes online.

This change helps ensure fair access to classes and reduces unused spots so more members can participate. If you’re unable to attend, please remember to cancel your booking as early as possible. Thank you for helping us make our classes accessible for everyone.

All Group Exercise Class – Policies

These guidelines and policies apply to all GEL group exercise classes, including Reformer Pilates, to ensure a smooth and fair experience for all members.

You can view the full group fitness timetable up to two weeks in advance within the portal.

Casual Bookings

Casual participants may book in person at reception on the day of a class, excluding Reformer Pilates, which is available to members only.

To ensure a safe and uninterrupted experience, please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your class.
Unfortunately, entry cannot be granted once a class has commenced.

Cancellation and Attendance

If you are unable to attend your class, please cancel your booking at least two hours before the class starts. Most classes have waiting lists, and we would like to be able to give as much notice to others if a position in the class becomes available.
